Depending on the starting image, it may be necessary to
interface a capture device to convert it to a useable (digital)
image. CTC has extensive experience selecting, optimizing
and calibrating these devices. Once the images are digitized,
a number of imaging software tools can be applied to them
to extract information, such as:
| > |
Optical Character Recognition
(OCR) |
| > |
Barcode reading |
| > |
Image quality attributes |
| > |
Pattern and shape recognition |
| > |
Color transforms |
| > |
Creation of ICC profiles |
There are more combinations of image types and analyses
than can be listed, and the list keeps growing every day.
Suffice it to say that if you have any job, from a file
drawer full of x-rays to a server full of digital images,
from which you want to extract information, CTC could handle
the job.
